About Us

Regional Building Consultants are one of the leading names in Building Certification and Consultancy in the Sunraysia region.

With over 30 years experience in the building industry and Director of Regional Building Consultants, Wayne has made a name in the local area and the wider building industry as a trusted and knowledgeable Building Surveyor, speaking regularly at Master Builder Association and AIBS meetings on industry standards and regulations.

In 1993 The Building Act passed legislation that privatised the building certification industry, allowing Building Surveyors to operate privately, paving the way for Regional Building Consultants to come to fruition in 1994.

We employ a range of experienced and qualified staff whose combined skills streamline the construction process for our clients.

Our Team

Wayne D Wilkie

Building Surveyor

Has 40 years' experience in the building industry, with the last 30 years as the Director of Regional Building Consultants. Wayne is a registered Building Surveyor in both Victoria and New South Wales and was named the AIBS Victorian Private Building Surveyor of the Year for 2010.

Mark Lee

Building Surveyor

Has 30 years' experience in the building industry and joined the team at Regional Building Consultants in 2005. Mark is a registered Building Surveyor in both Victoria and New South Wales.

Jason Binney

Building Surveyor

Has 23 years' experience in the building industry and joined the team at Regional Building Consultants in 2016. Jason is a registered Building Surveyor in both Victoria and New South Wales.

Lisa Wilkie

Office Manager

Has been involved with the company since its inception and brings a wealth of knowledge on the inner workings of the business.
